On Saturday 28th January, BBC Radio Northampton and Three Counties featured the Craft & Vintage Fair at the Working Men’s Club on the Treasure Quest Show. We were delighted to be visited by Jules after listeners cracked the clue ‘A single sex destination with stalls to browse’. It was great publicity to have our events on the radio and we hope lots of listeners who listen to the show will come to visit us very soon. We hold a Craft & Vintage Fair on the last Saturday of each month 9am-1pm, at the same time as the Farmer’s Market. We’re usually at the Working Men’s Club but on February 25th we will be using the downstairs of the Band Club on Wharf Road, opposite the Junior School. So no huge flight of stairs to climb, thank goodness..!
We always have a great selection of stalls and refreshments on sale and seeing as it’s free entry, why not come along and check it out for yourself? This month we will have vintage cake stands, milestone frames, fudge, handmade jewellery, vintage and upcycled furniture, crochet, wood carvings, handmade cards, fabric and knitted items among others. At the Band Club, we will also be using a room as an extra gift room, featuring extra stalls including Scentsy and Forever Living. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for more information. Throughout the month, I post updates about which stallholders are coming and the sort of items they’ll be bringing, so do click on ‘going’ on the event page to be kept up to date.
In January, I gave out 1000s of flyers at schools in Rushden, Higham Ferrers, Stanwick and Raunds and that will be continuing this month. I’ll keep you posted!! If you work somewhere where you think you could put a poster and some flyers in the staffroom or attend a club where you’d be able to distribute some flyers, let me know and I can bring some over for you. Any help is always appreciated! email@example.com Thank you, Louise
