So today was the second Craft Fair at the Mandeville Hall in Kimbolton. We had 20 fantastic stalls, as always the quality and diversity of stalls was wonderful. I’m always so impressed with how much effort everyone puts into making their stalls look so appealing and yet again, many customers commented on that to me too. Customers also commented several times at how nice it was to see a craft fair where all the items for sale are handmade rather than bought in which was great to hear.
There was a great selection including chocolate novelties (very popular today!), upcycled vintage and vintage craft items, wicker hearts, cushions, bunting, toys, crochet, wax melts, preserves, children’s pottery painting, cakes, dream catchers, jewellery, war time foods and plenty more!
It wasn’t the busiest day we’ve ever had but there was a good steady flow of people throughout the day and they all seemed to leave with a bag of goodies which is great! One stallholder described their day as ‘phenomenal’ so I’m delighted to hear that! It was also great to see how friendly all the stallholders were, sharing tips and buying from each other’s stalls, there is always such a fantastic relaxed atmosphere at all the Rainbow Craft Events Craft Fairs which I’m really proud of. A lovely day had by all!
Higham Ferrers Craft & Vintage Fairs
I’m over the moon with the amazing response to the Higham Ferrers Craft & Vintage Fairs which are booked to run at the same time (9am-1pm) as the Farmers’ Markets on the last Saturday of each month. Places are being booked right up to the end of the year so please do get in touch if you are interested in a stall (£15). The first one will be on Saturday 30th July. Thank you, Louise
